Chocoate Syrup for Breakfast
On the morning of the 14th February, two young women are sitting at a table eating breakfast. One of them has long, blonde hair and green eyes, and is extremely pale in complexion. The other one’s also blonde, but her hair is much shorter and her eyes are green, and her figure is much fuller. Their names are Regina and Araminta, and they are lovers.
Araminta is eating coco pops, and is squirting a rather atypical substance into them – chocolate syrup. It comes as no surprise to Regina that she’s making remarkable food combinations yet again, although she wonders why Araminta insists on adding more chocolate to what’s already chocolaty itself.
“Minty,” she says to her lover. “Are the coco pops not chocolaty enough already?”
“Yes they’re very chocolaty,” Araminta replies, “But the chocolate syrup is so yummy it’s a must-have.”
“I’ll tell you what’s a must-have,” says Regina. She stands up and walks over to where Araminta is, and kneels so that her face is level with her lover’s. She leans in and kisses Araminta who, thankfully, doesn’t have any food in her mouth at the time. When she pulls back, she says “Now tell me. Isn’t that a lot yummier than chocolate syrup?”
Araminta narrows her eyes, defeated.
